Procedure for Disciplinary Actions

Once an investigation of a possible violation ends, the result of the investigation must be presented to the board. Note that no disciplinary action may be taken unless the board votes on the matter. The board may request hearings or other actions the board might need to reach a decision. As with investigations, the board may subpoena parties and witnesses and get an order from an administrative law judge compelling compliance with the subpoenas.
